ULVA Delivering Asset Integrity Protection to BP in Azerbaijan

In the Caspian, BP operate two giant fields; the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil and the Shah Deniz (SD) gas fields. These fields are directly linked to local and international markets via a large export system which includes a complex subsea pipeline infrastructure connected with one of the biggest onshore oil and gas terminals in the world; the Sangachal terminal.
ULVA Insulation Systems has recently completed multiple large scale supply contracts in the Caspian region for BP's operational assets for the Shah Deniz 2 PR Platform, the Shah Deniz 2 QU Platform, the Shah Deniz 2 Gas Plant extension at Sangachal Terminal, plus multiple pumping station sites on the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) and the South Caucasus (SCP) Pipelines.
ULVA and BP have collaborated on various projects in the Caspian region since 2002, with BP benefitting from reduced corrosion under insulation incidents due to the excellent waterproofing integrity and proven longevity of the ULVAShield and ULVAMin PC systems over the past 16 years both on and offshore in the region.
Sangachal terminal : 1.2 million barrels (about 164,000 tonnes) of oil per day and 49.3 mmscm of gas per day. Crude oil storage capacity of 3.2 million barrels (450,000 tonnes).
BTC : 1.2 million barrels per day;
SCP : 19.8 million standard cubic metres (mmscm) per day
